The Shanghai and Capella upgrades enable staking withdrawals on Ethereum, allowing users to unlock their staking rewards or exit from staking entirely by unlocking their full validator balance.
The target slot for this upgrade is set at 6209536. A slot occurs exactly every 12 seconds meaning the upgrade will occur on April 1st, 2026 at roughly 11:43 AM
