Blockchain expands to Ghana
We've officially launched operations in Ghana, marking the next step in our commitment to expanding secure access to digital assets across Africa.
The move follows an extraordinary year in Nigeria, where brokerage transaction volumes have increased by more than 700% since launch. Ghana was already showing momentum — with a 140% increase in active users and an 80% increase in transaction volumes over the past year, even before our official launch.
Ghanaian users can now verify their ID, add a payment method, and start buying crypto on Blockchain.
250+ tokenized assets are now live
We've expanded our Tokenized Stocks and ETFs offering powered by Ondo Finance, now giving you access to 250+ tokenized assets — all tradable on-chain from one place.
This latest update adds 61 newly listed assets, spanning crypto spot ETFs, AI infrastructure, space, defense, and more. You can explore assets like iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), CoreWeave (CRWV), Rocket Lab (RKLB), and global market ETFs covering Japan, Brazil, India, South Korea, and beyond — all available in the Blockchain DeFi Wallet.
New token listings: HYPE, XAUt & NIGHT
A new set of assets is now available in your Trading Account.
- HYPE — The native token of Hyperliquid, a high-performance decentralized exchange and Layer 1 blockchain built for derivatives trading.
- XAUt — Tether Gold, a digital token where each unit represents one troy ounce of physical gold stored in Swiss vaults.
- NIGHT — The native token of Midnight, a privacy-focused blockchain using zero-knowledge proofs for selective data disclosure.
All tokens are available to trade in your Trading Account.
