Trump launches $TRUMP coin ahead of inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump has launched a new token, $TRUMP, just before his inauguration. The coin’s value surged from $3 to a high of $76.94, reaching a market capitilization of $15 billion. Sources suggest around 80% of the coin’s supply is owned by affiliates of the Trump Organization.
Trump described the coin as “an expression of support for, and engagement with the ideals and beliefs embodied by the symbol $TRUMP. He emphasised that the coin is “not intented to be, or the subject of” and investment opportunity or a security and was “not political and has nothing to do with” any political campaign, political office, or government agency.
Melania Trump has introduced her own token recently as well, $MELANIA which is moving quickly.
